Dwyane Wade's Injury More Severe Than Previously Thought

Dwyane Wade’s left foot injury is more serious than initially believed, however team doctors have not narrowed it down to a specific diagnosis. According to The Miami Herald, the pain could potentially be plantar fasciitis.

“I just know it’s in the area of plantar fascia,” Wade told the paper. “I know it’s bruised as well. Whatever it is, it’s just taking its course, taking its time to get healthy.”

Although Wade is questionable for both Tuesday’s game against Golden State Warriors and Wednesday’s game against the Clippers, he reportedly remains optimistic and is taking the necessary precautions to achieve optimum recovery.

“I would love for it to be [Tuesday],” Wade said of his return. “I would love for it to be Wednesday. I don’t know. I’m just trying to be smart.”
