The three young Bengals were added to the roster thanks to the  New England Patriots’ victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship yesterday.  Dalton (first alternate), Atkins (first alternate), and Gresham (third alternate) will replace Tom Brady,  Vince Wilfork, and Rob Gronkowski, respectively.   The three added Bengals will join teammate and first-team selection wide receiver A.J. Green.

The upstart Bengals finished the season with a solid 9-7 record, losing to the Houston Texans, 31-10, in the AFC Wildcard game.
