Madonna Battles Hamstring Injury In Preparation For Super Bowl XLVI

Rob Gronkowski isn't the only big name on the injury report heading into Super Bowl XLVI -- there's also that of Madonna, the halftime musical guest, who is battling a pulled hamstring.

"I feel like I'm one of the football players right now with all of the physical therapy I have to do, but I'm good," she said, according to NFL.com. "Mind over matter."

The Material Girl held a news conference today in Indianapolis to preview her Sunday night performance, saying she was "excited" and "nervous" to play in front of 60,000-plus fans at Lucas Oil Stadium.

"This is a Midwestern girl's dream, to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show," she said. "In the over 25 years of performing that I've done, I've never worked so hard or been so scrupulous or freaked out as I have been maintaining my sanity and making the most amazing show for the Super Bowl."
