Chad Ochocinco Attends Court One Day After Super Bowl
New England Patriots wide receiver, Chad Ochocinco, had to appear in court today for charges that stemmed from a suspended license, according to the Cincinnati Press.
Ochocinco, whose name was listed as Johnson on the ticket, was originally charged with driving with a suspended license and window tint violation.
He pleaded guilty Monday to the reduced charge of failure to display a driver’s license. He was forced to pay a $200 fine and ordered to purchase a valid license. Ochocinco, caught one pass for 21 yards in Sunday’s Super Bowl 21-17 loss to the New York Giants. This season he had 15 receptions for 276 yards and scored one touchdown for the Patriots. He has 766 receptions for 11,059 yards and 67 touchdowns in his career.
