Report: Kobe Bryant Would Be On Board With Gilbert Arenas Signing

Kobe Bryant is for the signing of free-agent guard Gilbert Arenas, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

"It certainly wouldn't hurt," Bryant told reporters when asked about whether the Lakers needed Arenas. Bryant also reportedly told reporters that Arenas would bring, “Hibatchi,” to Los Angeles, a reference to a nickname Arenas gave himself after scoring 60 points on the Lakers in 2006.

The Lakers reportedly attended a private workout with Arenas this week and were impressed by his mobility.
