Poll: 14 Of 15 NFL Scouts Prefer Andrew Luck, Not Robert Griffin III, As No. 1 Pick

According to a poll conducted by Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, 14 of 15 NFL scouts favor selecting Andrew Luck in the NFL draft ahead of Robert Griffin III.

Cole named two main reasons often cited by the scouts -- one being size (Luck is 6-foot-4, 235 pounds to Griffin's 6-2, 220), and the other being system considerations (Griffin no doubt benefited from the spread offense played at Baylor).

Luck threw for 3,517 yards, 37 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions last season, winning the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award given to the nation's best senior quarterback. He was the runner-up for Heisman Trophy honors for the second consecutive season.

That Heisman, however, went to Griffin, who threw for 4,293 yards, 37 TDs and only six picks.
