Marcus Vick Given 10-Day Jail Sentence For Contempt

Wednesday February 29th, 2012

Michael Vick’s brother, Marcus, has been sentenced to a 10-day jail sentence for contempt of court, according to the Associated Press.

Vick reportedly failed to appear in court on two separate occasions for a charge of driving on a suspended license. Vick was expected to report to jail Monday but according to Associated Press he has yet to arrive.

Marcus Vick, like his brother Michael, was a standout quarterback at Virginia Tech University. Despite possessing the same incredible physical skills as his brother, Marcus was unable to stay on the field and ultimately went undrafted as a result of behavioral issues and legal troubles. Vick eventually signed with the Miami Dolphins after going undrafted in 2006. He played with the team for one season but his contract was not picked up.
