Report: Peyton Manning Not Interested In Redskins

The Washington Redskins are certainly among the 12 teams to have expressed interest in free agent Peyton Manning, but according to ESPN's Chris Russell, he's not interested:

The Redskins went 5-11 last season with Rex Grossman and John Beck shared time at quarterback. They haven't had a winning season since 2007, when they went 9-7 with Jason Campbell under center.

Manning, who officially became a free agent when the Colts released him yesterday, is understandably not interested. Two obvious reasons: One, he'd be in the same division with his brother, Giants quarterback Eli Manning, and two, he's steadily maintained his preference to play in the AFC next season rather than the NFC.
