An earlier report today from the New York Post cited a confidant of Carmelo Anthony’s that said the star forward wanted Mike D’Antoni gone. The source also indicated that if D’Antoni was not removed by next season, then Anthony would seek a trade. These rumors were later denied by Anthony’s agent.
