Report: Ryan Anderson To Be Named NBA's Most Improved Player

Orlando Magic forward Ryan Anderson will be named the NBA’s Most Improved Player today, according to Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel.

Anderson averaged 16.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest in 61 games for the Magic this season. Last year he scored just 10.6 per game and grabbed 5.6 rebounds per contest.

Anderson’s playing time also increased by 10 minutes per game from 2010-11 to 2011-12.
