Report: Mavs pick Darius Johnson-Odom headed to Lakers in exchange for cash

After their attempts to trade into the first round failed, the Los Angeles Lakers settled for buying the 55th overall pick from the Dallas Mavericks -- a pick that originally belonged to L.A.

Dallas used the pick on Marquette guard Darius Johnson-Odom, an undersized, stocky two-guard who averaged 18.3 points as a senior and who presumably will get a chance to make the Lakers.
