Monday July 2nd, 2012

The Indiana Pacers may soon be losing their All-Star center, but they now have a solution at point guard for the next few years. The Indianapolis Star's Mike Wells reported in a tweet that the Pacers have agreed a deal with George Hill that will keep the guard in Indianapolis until 2017. Hill, 26, is a native of Indianapolis, having grown up there and played college ball at Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). He joined the Pacers at the start of the 2011-2012 season and averaged just under 10 points and 3 assists per game in the regular season. Hill came alive for the surprising Pacers in the playoffs, where he started all 11 games and averaged 13 points per game.
