Brewers release pitcher Randy Wolf -- on his birthday

The Milwaukee Brewers have released veteran pitcher Randy Wolf, according to reports.

Wednesday is Wolf's 36th birthday.

The lefty has struggled for Milwaukee this season. Wolf is 3-10 with a 5.69 ERA in 24 starts. It's a sharp drop from last season, when he went 13-10 with a 3.69 ERA.
