Report: Darrelle Revis 'probably' tore ACL

UPDATE: Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis "probably" tore his ACL, Yahoo Sports' Jason Cole reported via Twitter Sunday night. Cole cites a "Jets source" in his tweet.
Jets source says Revis prob has a torn ACL, but hoping for better news after MRI Monday. However, knee is "loose," jargon for ACL tear.

Previously, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported that the Jets were concerned that their star cornerback Revis tore his ACL on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
Jets fearing a possible ACL injury for Darrelle Revis. Doesn't look good but will not know extent until more test done back in New York.

Revis was carted off the field Sunday after suffering a non-contact injury to his left knee. Revis' left knee looked like it buckled as he was bracing for the impact of a Dolphins' player's block.
Losing Revis, the four-time All-Pro and cornerstone of the team's defense, would be a massive blow for the Jets. He has served as the Jets' lockdown corner who is always dependable to shut down the opposing team's best receiver, and the Jets would struggle to replace that with backups Antonio Cromartie and Kyle Wilson.
