Jets sign Colts practice squad lineman Hayworth Hicks

The struggling New York Jets have signed a new guard--a player formerly on the practice squad for the Colts. Hicks tweeted news of the move himself.

Hicks was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent back in April, but was cut after preseason and signed to the practice squad.  Moving to the Jets is an obvious choice for Hicks, who will get at least three weeks on the Jets active roster by rule. One of the Jets' three wins was a 35-9 victory over the Colts, too.
