Nearly ten months after he tore his left Achilles tendon, Chauncey Billups will return to the Los Angeles Clippers and start at shooting guard tonight, reports Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears.

Billups, 36, suffered the injury on Feb. 6 during a game against the Orlando Magic last season. He said at the time that he expected to miss six months and would not consider retiring.

The 15-year veteran of seven teams re-signed with Los Angeles in July for one year, $4.3 million. He played 20 games for the Clippers last season, starting at shooting guard next to Chris Paul and averaging 15.0 points and 4.0 assists.
