Chargers place Ryan Mathews, Malcom Floyd on IR

The San Diego Chargers placed running back Ryan Mathews and wide receiver Malcom Floyd on injured reserve on Tuesday, the team announced.

The team also placed right tackle Reggie Wells on the injured-reserved list.

Mathews injured his collarbone in a 31-7 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. It was the second time he injured the collarbone this year. Mathews, in his third season with team, had 707 yards on 184 carries this season.
