Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy will interview with three NFL teams this weekend for their vacant head-coaching positions, ESPN.com's Adam Schefter reported Thursday. Schefter reported that McCoy will meet with the Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals on Saturday and the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

McCoy is permitted to interview with teams this week while the Broncos have a bye before next week's AFC Divisional Playoffs. After being passed over for the Miami Dolphins' head job last season, the 40-year-old McCoy is expected to be a prime target this offseason.

McCoy has been the Broncos' offensive coordinator since 2009, where he has helped lead the team to the playoffs the last two seasons under very different schemes. Last season, McCoy ran a read-option system under quarterback Tim Tebow. This season, he has employed a more conventional approach with Peyton Manning. The Broncos ranked fourth in the NFL this season in points per game.

Led by their offense, the Broncos finished 13-3 this season, good enough for the AFC's top seed.
