The Memphis Grizzlies are looking for trade partners for small forward Rudy Gay, according to a report on Grantland.com.

The Grizzlies started off the season on a roll, but have since declined precipitously in offensive production. Memphis currently ranks 23rd in offensive points per game, though they pair that with the league's best defense. The Grizzlies recently changed things up in the front office, hiring former ESPN.com NBA analyst John Hollinger thanks to his knowledge and use of advanced statistics in player scouting and team composition.

Trading Gay would amount to a seismic shift in the Grizzlies' rotation. Gay currently plays just over 36 minutes per game, averaging 18 points with 5.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game, all of which are in line with his career numbers.
