Kobe Bryant and wife reconcile, to drop divorce proceeding

Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa, announced via Instagram that the couple has reconciled and will dismiss divorce proceedings.

Vanessa filed for divorce from their then 10-year marriage in December 2011, citing "irreconcilable differences" in an Orange County Superior Court.

Sources connected with the couple told TMZ that Vanessa -- who stood by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 before the case was dropped -- decided to end the marriage because she believed Kobe had been unfaithful again.
