Jose Calderon to make Pistons debut tonight

New Detroit Pistons point guard Jose Calderon can finally make his first appearance with his new team after acquiring a U.S. work visa, the Pistons announced Monday. Calderon, who is originally from Spain, had played all of his eight NBA seasons in Canada with the Toronto Raptors. This made it unnecessary for the point guard to acquire a U.S. visa until last week's trade that sent him to Detroit and Rudy Gay to Toronto.

Calderon missed two games waiting for the visa, but will join his team on the court when the Pistons take on the Knicks Monday night.
