Metta World Peace was woken up by several police officers on Tuesday morning because actors rehearsing for a scene in his movie were using fake guns as props, according to the LA Times.

World Peace was unaware the rehearsal was taking place and caught off-guard by the scene:

"I'm in my underwear and my son says, 'Hey dad, there's police at the door,'" World Peace said in an interview with The Times after the Lakers beat the Boston Celtics on Wednesday evening. "So I jump out, I'm nervous. I see these police with rifles and scopes."

The movie's director, various actors and World Peace's brother, Isaiah, were handcuffed when the police arrived. World Peace spoke briefly with officers, put on a set of Cookie Monster pajamas and joined them outside.

"Like 20 cops' cars are outside, like 10 more police," he said. "My brother had his hands behind his back and [there were] helicopters. The whole Wilshire [Blvd.] was shut down. The street shut down. No cars nowhere."
