Lakers' Kobe Bryant game-time decision tonight against Pacers

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will be a game-time decision to play tonight against the Indiana Pacers, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Bryant severely sprained his left ankle Wednesday in a 96-92 loss against the Atlanta Hawks when he went up for a jumper and came down on the ankle of Hawks guard Dahntay Jones. Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni said if Bryant can't go his backup Jodie Meeks will get the start.

The NBA acknowledged Thursday that its referees missed a foul call on the play which Bryant was injured.

After the Indiana contest, the next three games (home against Sacramento, a road game at Phoenix and at home against Washington) are against teams with losing records.

The Lakers are 14-8 in games Bryant has missed since the 2006-07 season.
