Former New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum has joined a sports agency as the head of its new division for contract negotiations with coaches, front office personnel and broadcasters, according to multiple reports on Twitter.

The news Tannenbaum would be joining Priority Sports & Entertainment was first reported by CBS Sports' Bruce Feldman.

Tannenbaum, the former Jets GM, will oversee contract negotiations for basketball and football coaches in pro and college.

Feldman reported that Tannenbaum is a graduate of Tulane Law School.
