Kobe Bryant to end tweets during Lakers playoffs

Kobe Bryant took to Twitter on Monday to announce he will no longer be tweeting during the Lakers' games in the playoffs. Bryant's tweets during Game 1 of the Lakers and San Antonio Spurs game garnered media attention that Bryant said was unintentional on his part.

Lakers head coach Mike D'Antoni responded to the tweets by calling Bryant a "fan" and said Bryant wants to be a part of the team. Bryant suffered a season-ending achilles tendon tear which should sideline him from six to eight months. Bryant couldn't travel with the team to San Antonio but will be with the team for Game 3 and Game 4 at Staples Center.
