Chicago Bulls' point guard Derrick Rose will miss Game 1 of the Bulls Eastern Conference semifinals against the Miami Heat, ESPN's Nick Friedell reports. According to the report, Rose said he isn't ruling himself out for playing "at some point" during the series against the Heat but Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau has ruled Rose out for Game 1.

Rose has yet to appear in a game for the Bulls this season after tearing his ACL in Game 1 of last year's playoffs against the Philadelphia 76ers. In addition to Rose being out, the Bulls will take on the defending NBA champion Heat without Luol Deng and possibly Kirk Hinrich in Game 1.
