Toronto Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ -- hit in the head by a line drive Tuesday night -- is expected to be released from the hospital today after further tests, the team announced on Twitter.
We anticipate that he will be discharged today after testing and will provide an update later on with further information.

In the second inning, a line drive off the bat of Tampa Bay outfielder Desmond Jennings nailed Happ in the side of the head. Happ was taken off the field on a stretcher. You can see video of the play above.
