NFL bust JaMarcus Russell has reportedly lost 50 pounds and there is "significant" interest from multiple teams in former Oakland Raiders quarterback, reports NFL.com.

Russell's weight is down to 265 pounds, which was his weight at the NFL Scouting Combine in 2007. A few months later, the Raiders selected Russell with the No. 1 pick in the Draft. Russell played in 31 games over three seasons, throwing for 4,083 yards, 18 touchdowns and 23 interceptions.

More from NFL.com:

Russell's work to get back in shape and return to the NFL is laudable, but we still can't imagine any NFL team taking a shot at him. This league is all about second chances, but Russell might have permanently ruined all interest during his first tour of duty with the Oakland Raiders. No amount of weight loss can cover that up.
