Seven-time Golden Glove winner Mike Mussina will begin another chapter of his life in the fall when he starts his new job as head coach of a boys high school basketball team in Pennsylvania.

According to the Williamsport Sun GazetteMessina was unanimously approved by the Montoursville Area School District Board of Education on Tuesday night to return to his alma-mater, Montoursville Area High School, to be the next head coach of its varsity basketball team. The five-time All-Star, who earned more than $140 million during his 17-year MLB career for the Baltimore Orioles and later the New York Yankees, will receive a stipend of $4,170 to coach the Warriors, who finished 5-17 last season.
