The Miami Heat and free-agent center Chris Andersen have agreed to terms on a one-year deal, according to Yahoo! Sports reporter Adrian Wojnarowski.

According to the report, Andersen was the top free-agent target for Heat team president Pat Riley and head coach Erik Spoelstra. Andersen, 34, signed with the Heat in January and played an integral part during the playoff run for the NBA champion Heat. When Andersen appeared in a regular season game for the Heat, the team went 39-3, including a 27-game wining streak.

Andersen averaged 4.9 points and 4.1 rebounds off the bench in 42 regular season games in just 14.9 minutes-per-game. He played an even larger role in the playoffs, averaging 6.4 points and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 81 percent from the field in the postseason for the Heat.
