Greg Oden's agent confirmed to FOX Sports Florida that the Cavaliers are out of the running for the free-agent center's services.

The Cavs' remaining interest in Oden was in doubt after the team signed Andrew Bynum to a two-year, $24 million contract this week.

Chris Tomasson reports the 7-footer is still considering the Bobcats, Celtics, Heat and Spurs.

ESPN's Marc Stein reported Thursday the Mavericks are a 'legit' contender to sign Oden. The Mavs are likely further motivated to sign Oden after losing out on free-agent center Dwight Howard to the Rockets. Stein listed the Cavs, Heat and Spurs as leaders in the chase for Oden.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported Wednesday the Mavericks were also talking to free-agent big man Samuel Dalembert.

GOLLIVER: Greg Oden reportedly 'looks unbelievable' in preparing for NBA comeback

Oden, 25, remains one of the off-season's most intriguing free agents since multiple knee injuries have limited him to just 82 games since being selected No. 1 overall by the Trail Blazers in the 2007 NBA Draft.
