Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says that the strong reactions the Heat get from fans helps make the NBA more popular, according to ProBasketballTalk.
Cuban told Jeff Caplan of NBA.com that the league does better when fans have a team to focus on, whether they love them or hate them:
"That’s always good for the NBA when you have a team that everybody looks forward to beating. It’s just like when [Dallas] beat them [in the 2011 Finals], I would go in places I’ve never been and people would give me a standing ovation. That’s good for the NBA.”
