Miami Heat forward-center Chris Bosh will miss Tuesday's game in Toronto against the Raptors to be with his newborn daughter, according to Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel.

Dylan Skye Bosh, the second child for Bosh and his wife Adrienne, was born at 5:55 a.m., weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring 19 inches long. The 6-foot-11 Bosh tweeted, "I feel like I'm 10 ft. tall right now" shortly after the birth.

His daughter's birth comes approximately 18 months after the couple's first child, Jackson, was born. At the time, Bosh and the Heat were in the midst of a first-round matchup with the New York Knicks, and he had to rush to Madison Square Garden to play.

The Raptors selected Bosh with the fourth pick in the 2003 NBA draft. He left Toronto after seven seasons to join the Heat.

The 29-year-old Bosh is now the second Heat starter to miss a game this season. Dwyane Wade sat out last week's road loss to the Philadelphia 76ers to rest his sore knees. The Heat are back at home in Miami on Thursday for a matchup with Chris Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers.
