Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee suffered a stress fracture in his right tibia and will be out indefinitely, with no timetable for return.

McGee has been playing in a more limited capacity this season, averaging just 16 minutes per game for seven points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks. During Friday's loss to the Suns, McGee played only 12 minutes for just two points, three rebounds and one assist.

The Nuggets have been using J.J. Hickson and Anthony Randolph at center instead of McGee. The Nuggets might also use Timofey Mozgov in McGee's place.

For now, there's no indication exactly when or how McGee suffered the stress fracture in his leg.
