Houston Rockets guard James Harden's bruised foot will keep him out of the next two games, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Harden was a game-time call Saturday against the Timberwolves. Rockets coach Kevin McHale said Harden would try to play with his bruised foot, but would be more surprised if he did play than if he didn't.
According to ESPN, soreness in Harden's foot has been bothering him in some capacity since the middle of training camp.
He missed Saturday night's game against the Timberwolves and will likely sit out Monday against the Grizzlies while he is re-evaluated. While Harden rests, the team will try to pinpoint exactly why his foot has been bothering him this season.
Harden has been averaging 24.2 points per game this season.
