After the Houston Texans' ninth straight loss plunged them to a last-place tie with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC South, Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson summed it up bluntly.

"We suck," he said after the Texans' 13-6 loss to the Jaguars, according to ESPN.com's Tania Ganguli. After a pause, he added, "As an offense. That's pretty much it."

Johnson's comments came a week after a public spat with quarterback Matt Schaub on the Texans sideline. Subsequently, when he was asked if he could stick around for a rebuilding effort, he said only, "I'm under contract."

In Sunday's loss to the Jaguars, Johnson had only two catches for 36 yards. He was targeted six times by Houston quarterback Case Keenum, who got the start this week.

"You’re not going to play perfect every single game, but I mean, it’s been bad, you know?" Johnson said, via ESPN. "They were booing us last week. They booed us before. I said it before, if we’re not putting good stuff on the field, we ain’t giving them nothing to cheer about. They booed. They should boo."
