Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Farmar will miss about four weeks because of a tear in his left hamstring, the team announced.

Farmar was injured in the Lakers' 114-108 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.

Farmar spent his first four NBA seasons with the Lakers after being drafted in the first round of the 2006 NBA Draft. He was a contributor off the bench, helping the team win two championships.
