Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson took issue with the refereeing and fan behavior in the team's last minute loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Peterson left the game in the second quarter and later returned to the sideline in street clothes. The former MVP seemed to be in a great amount of pain after being brought to the ground by Baltimore Ravens' linebacker Arthur Brown. Initial reports indicate that Peterson suffered a mid-foot sprain, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

The Vikings RB later took to twitter to chastise the referees, as well as calling out the Ravens supporters as 'the worst fan base' for throwing snowballs at the players.

Peterson had a career year in 2012 after coming back from an ACL injury, and became the third fastest player to reach the 10,000 yard milestone earlier this season.
