The Nuggets have suspended guard Andre Miller for two games for conduct detrimental to team, as first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. The Nuggets later announced the discipline dealt to Miller.

Miller reportedly yelled at Nuggets head coach Brian Shaw about being disrespected after not playing in the team's 114-102 loss to the 76ers on Wednesday night. It was the Nuggets' eighth consecutive loss.

Miller will miss Denver’s home game against the Grizzlies on Friday and will not travel with the team for Sunday’s game against the Lakers.

From the Denver Post:

"There's a time and place for everything," Shaw said. "In the middle of the arena in front of everyone ... I just tried to calm it down."

Asked if Miller understood the reasons for his one-game seat on the bench, Shaw said, "You'll have to ask him."
