Denver Nuggets announced that guard Nate Robinson will miss the rest of the season after having surgery to repair a torn ACL on Friday.

The 9-year veteran left the Nuggets game against Bobcats in the first quarter Wednesday, and underwent an MRI on his left knee the next day. GM Tim Connelly says he is confident Robinson will recover fully from the injury.

“Nate is known for his heart and determination, so I have no doubt he will work hard to get back on the court as soon as possible. He has the full support of our team and organization.”
