Portland Trailblazers All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge will miss a week with a left groin strain, the team announced Tuesday.

The team said they will re-evaluate Aldridge after that time period. It will break a string of Portland being the only one in the league to have the same starting five in each game this season.

Aldridge is seventh in the NBA in scoring at 23.9 points per game and rebounding (11.4) and has been bothered by the groin for at least a week.

The Blazers have home games this week against the San Antonio Spurs, Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves. They are currently tied for third in the Western Conference with a 36-17 record.
