The New York Knicks believe that Phil Jackson will soon be accepting a front office role with the team, reports Chris Broussard of ESPN.
Jackson was offered a not-yet-known role in the Knicks organization last week, after reportedly turning down an offer to be the team's next head coach. Now Broussard reports that the team thinks they are on the brink of signing the 12-time champion.
"The Knicks have a sense of what's going to happen," the source said. "And as of right now, it looks like Phil's taking the job. There's always the possibility of something falling apart at the last minute, but the Knicks' sense is that he's joining them."according to the New York Daily News.
