Thunders' Russell Westbrook leaves game with knee injury

Russell Westbrook left the Oklahoma City Thunder's win over the Toronto Raptors early on Friday after a knee injury, according to Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman.

The incident occurred in the third quarter, and Westbrook was immediately helped to the locker room by a trainer and teammates.

Westbrook had not missed a game in his NBA, college, or high school career until he tore his meniscus in game two of the Thunder's 2013 playoff series against the Houston Rockets, causing him to miss the beginning of the 2013-'14 season. He has appeared in 36 games for the Thunder this season after having a third knee surgery in late December.
