Dwyane Wade will miss the Miami Heat's Monday night game against the Portland Trail Blazers with an ankle injury, according to Tom Haberstroh of ESPN.

The injury occurred during the Heat's 101-96 loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday of last week. While Wade did play in the team's win against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, he sat out against the New Orleans Pelicans the following night.

The team has been cautious with Wade's health all season, frequently sitting him on the second half of back-to-back games for added rest, and they are continuing that strategy by keeping the All-Star on the bench in Portland. Former Blazer Greg Oden will enter the starting lineup in Wade's place.
