Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson sprained his left ankle in the team's Friday night loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post.
Lawson left the arena with a walking boot on his left foot, and told the press the injury would likely keep him off the court for a few days.
"It’s a normal sprain, but this is probably the worst one I’ve had... Hopefully a couple of days I’ll be back right, get the swelling down.”
The Nuggets have had a hard time maintaining point guard depth this season, trading away Andre Miller after he had a falling out with coach Brian Shaw, and losing Nate Robinson for the season to an ACL tear.
