Report: Bradley Roby charged with operating a car under the influence

Former Ohio State cornerback and first-round NFL Draft prospect Bradley Roby was charged last weekend with operating a vehicle under the influence, according to a report from WBNS-TV in Columbus.
According to the report, Roby was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence on Sunday. Columbus police told the network that officers found a driver "passed out" behind the wheel of a car. After they were unable to get the driver's attention, they opened the door and smelled a stench of alcohol. Another officer was dispatched to perform a sobriety test, which Roby failed, according to the report.
Both SI.com's Don Banks and Chris Burke project Roby to be selected at the end of the first round of next month's NFL Draft. The 5-foot-11, 194-pound cornerback left Ohio State after his junior season.
Roby's agent, Michael Perrett of SportsTrust Advisors, told the Ohio State sports website Eleven Warriors that he expects the issue to be resolved "quickly and favorably."
"This past weekend my client Bradley Roby was issued a citation in Columbus, Ohio for operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI)," Perrett saidin the statement. "Bradley was sitting in his parked car in a parking lot when he was approached and questioned by an officer. He was fully cooperative and willingly submitted to field sobriety and breathalyzer tests. His BAC test registered a negligible .008 and after further testing at the police station, he was very quickly released on his own recognizance. There are no other charges, and we are confident that this matter will be resolved quickly and favorably for Bradley. However, as the matter is still pending, we cannot comment further at this time.
