The Portland Trail Blazers were greeted with a big surprise before Thursday night's Game 2 of their series vs. the San Antonio Spurs. Forward Thomas Robinson found a snake in his locker, according to the Blazers' official website and other reports.

“I just put my shoes down and once I put my shoes down I double looked and I seen a snake sitting there,” Robinson said. “After that, I got away from it. I just seen something curled up and I looked again and it was a snake. No one believed me until they looked in there. It hissed, I backed up.”

Guard Will Barton said he suspects the Spurs' Danny Green as the culprit — apparently, Green collects snakes, and this particular snake was black and white.

"That's the No. 1 suspect right there," Barton joked.

Robinson wasn't the only one who was terrified to find a snake waiting for him in the locker room. Guard Mo Williams posted the photo up top to his Instagram account, and he added some commentary in a tweet:
