The Baltimore Orioles signed reliever Heath Bell to a minor league deal, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.

Bell was released by the Tampa Bay Rays on May 10, and was reported to be fielding offers from the Seattle Mariners and other teams before agreeing to a deal with the O's on Friday night.

The three-time All-Star has posted a 7.27 ERA in 17.1 innings of work for the Rays this year, after being acquired as part of a three-way trade that also included the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Cincinnati Reds.
