Jose Francisco Torres scores Tigres' first goal of the season in Copa MX win

Jose "Gringo" Torres is back on the field and back and amongst the goals for Mexican side Tigres.

The American midfielder missed Tigres' Liga MX opener (a 3-0 loss to América) due to a muscle problem and was an unused sub in their second game, a 0-0 draw with Pachuca. Torres was given the start in Tigres' Copa MX game at second-tier Atlético San Luis, and he didn't waste much time making an impact, taking advantage of a poor clearance by a San Luis defender to score this relatively uncontested goal in the 7th minute:

That goal turned out to be all that was needed for Tigres, who won that game 1-0 after violence among fans delayed the start of the second half.
