Terrence Boyd is probably in the best form of any American No. 9 at the end of the European league season. He scored again on Sunday, his fifth goal in the last three games to follow two-goal games in each of the last two weeks.

Boyd's goal came in the 34th minute against Wacker Innsbruck. It ended up being the winner, as Vienna won 2-0 to extend the gap in the standings above third-placed Austria Vienna to six points.

Boyd only scored once in all of March, finding a goal in a 6-3 loss to Red Bull Salzburg on March 2 before the United States' match against Ukraine. Since then, it's been quiet on the Austrian front, until Boyd broke out with a brace on April 20 at Grödig.

He followed that up by scoring twice against Salzburg at home, netting his team's first and then putting home the winner in the 84th minute after the visitors equalized. With his goal on Sunday against Innsbruck, Boyd has scored against the Bundesliga's top-placed club and bottom-placed club in the past two weeks.
